      Welcome to my Website!

I would like to introduce my books.

Deadly Revenge is a suspense thriller set in the western United States, primarily Nevada. It will capture your attention from the first page and hold you captive throughout the book.

You'll follow Amber Bells as she flees from a killer and fights for her life. You'll cry with her as she recounts the death of her children and how her husband turned from her in her darkest hour. You'll applaud her efforts as she gradually begins to rebuild her life only to find it  crumbling down around her yet again. You'll be amazed at her strength as she overcome obstacle after obstacle.

When Amber meets Hank, a reclusive mountain man, she is immediately drawn to him as a man she can trust. As Amber flees from the killer stalking her, her life changes dramatically. Deadly Revenge is a book you will not  want to put down. Below is a sample of the book. Hope you like it.

                                                 DEADLY REVENGE

Amber looked down at the dead man she dragged through the snow. The weight was almost more than she could bear. Her shoulders ached and she was freezing but she had to get the body back to the cabin before the killer returned. Amber knew the killer had seen her. There was no doubt about that, but before he'd had a chance to do anything ,he had stumbled and fell down the snow covered mountain. She knew he would be looking for her soon. She looked down at the ugly face of the man she struggled to move. He was the most obnoxious man she had ever met, as well as being the meanest son of a bitch who had ever lived. She would have liked to kill Horrace herself and if she had been that type of person, she would have. She hated to admit it but she was glad he was dead. She couldn't explain why she was moving the body out of the open and back to the cabin.

"I ought to leave you here for the wild animals," she murmered looking at the dead man. "I ought to let the buzzards have you. It's what you deserve."

She clamped her teeth together and tugged again, moving the body a little at a time. She looked at the bloody trail she left. The sun would set soon but that trail would still be visible. The killer would be after her later, she knew, if he hadn't been hurt too badly by his fall. It was already turning dark. Night came early in these pine covered mountains, Snow fell lightly, then more heavily and she soon had trouble seeing where she was going.

Good, she thought. Maybe it will erase my tracks. She pulled on the dead man until the cabin was in sight. She shivered but she didn't know if it was from the frigid air or from touching a dead person. She kept glancing around for the killer as she grunted and tugged on the body. When, and if the killer came after her, she planned to be ready for him. It was just a few more steps to the cabin. Amber struggled to catch her breath which was coming in great gasps.

When she reached the door it was locked. Great, she thought. What now? She paused to catch her breath. The view was breathtaking up here. Tall pines were covered with blankets of thick fluffy snow. No footprints marred the beauty of the area. She was procrastinating and she knew it. Her hands were trembling as she reluctantly reached into Horraces coat pocket looking for keys. Of course, they weren't there. That would've been too easy.Shivering and feeling too gross for words she reached into his trouser pockets. There was some change, quarters and dimes, but no keys. The keys had to be here somewhere. Suddenly she felt them. As she unlocked the front door she murmered a heartfelt "Thank you GOD."

She had barely gotten Horraces body into the cabin and the door locked when she heard a noise. Amber froze, her heart leaping into her throat. He can't be here already, she thought. I'm not ready. The door rattled again. Ready or not, the killer had found her and he was right outside the door.

"Hey, anyone in there?" a deep voice asked. "Hello."

Amber didn't move. Her breath caught in her throat and her heart pounded in terror. Suddenly, something slammed against the door. Bits of wood flew everywhere as the door burst loose from its hinges. Frantically, Amber reached into her coat pocket and drew the pistol she kept for protection. It looked like she would have to use it. She flipped off the safety, jumped behind the sofa and aimed at the open doorway. The man lunged into the room and Amber fired the gun, hitting him in the leg. He fell to the floor, his gun flying from his hand. Amber ran out and grabbed the gun just as the man grabbed her ankle. The momentum of the attack knocked her to the floor but she held onto the gun with an iron grip, twisted and aimed it at his head.

For the rest just order the book. Hope you like it.

My second book is called Savannah. Here is a little sample.

                                             Savannah

Aunt Judith was dead. Now Savannah had no one in the entire world who cared about her. A feeling of sadness washed over her. Aunt Judith had been the only family Savannah had ever known and now she was gone. Savannah pulled the van over to the side of the road. The barren desert loomed all around her. Heat shimmered on the horizon. It was miserably hot out here. She wiped the perspiration from her brow and pulled her long black hair off her neck. Huge, sad blue eyes looked all around. Why had she ever decided to come out here to Nevada? Just because Aunt Judith had mentioned this town in her final days didn't really mean anything. Savannah thought she just wanted it to mean something. Aunt Judith, dead now after being ill for so long had mentioned Sandcastle, Nevada just before she had died. She had referred to it as home.

Savannah had never heard her aunt talk about any place other than Peaches, Georgia. That was home. That was where Aunt Judith and Savannah had lived as long as she could remember. Aunt Judith had raised Savannah after her parents had been killed in a tragic accident when she was just a baby. Savannah had never even seen a picture of her parents. She thought she might look like them though, because she didn't look like Aunt Judith at all. Her aunt had always taken good care of her. She had always had everything she needed.

Savannah had often wondered where her aunts money had come from. She had never worked so Savannah assumed there had been some kind of insurance from her parents deaths. Aunt Judith never talked about it and always discouraged personal questions. Savannah had never felt loved but she had always felt safe. Taken care of. When the illness had taken its toll on Aunt Judith, Savannah had been there to take care of her. She had stayed with her aunt until the end.

After the funeral and all expences had been taken care of there had only been ten thousand dollars. Savannah had bought this van and headed for the place her aunt had spoken so fondly of. Sandcastle, Nevada.

After stretching her legs, she got back into the van and felt the cold air wash over her. It felt heavenly. She pulled back onto the road and headed into the little town of Sandcastle. She pulled into the first motel she saw as she came into town. It was a big casino-hotel combination. This wasn't her favorite choice but it would do until she found a better place to stay.

She ordered room service as soon as she reached her room. She climbed into bed after a long leisurely bath. She was surprised to find that she couldn't sleep. She had too many things going through her mind. If she was going to stay here in Nevada, she was going to have to find a job and a place to live. She got out of bed and began to jot down all the things she had to do.

Number one on her list was to look for an apartment or a house to rent. Number two was to start putting applications in everywhere for a job. Her last job had been as a part time reporter in Peaches. Nothing exciting ever happened there so her stories were mostly about various school activities. She would try the newspaper offices around here. She would take any job though, no matter what it was.

After breakfast the next morning, Savannah was leaving the casino and as she walked by a slot machine, she put a dollar in and pulled the handle. She watched as the machine turned and turned. When it finally stopped turning, money began to pour from it. She watched as the coins tumbled out.

Just click on the links at the left to order Deadly Revenge. Savannah will be available shortly.

I have had short stories published in Truckers News magazine and Roadstar magazines since 1997. These magazines publish twelve stories a year. I won honorable mention in 1997 for one of my short stories from Eaton Literary agency. I also do audio book reviews for Truckers News magazines.

I  had  a book signing at That Bookstore in Blytheville, the very same bookstore where John Grisham, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton and many other famous authors have had theirs.

Buddy Jewell, the country singer is currently reading DEADLY REVENGE and asked if he could play the villian when the movie comes out.  One can only hope for a movie deal.
